ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam needs only 9 runs to become the top batsman in T20 Internationals.

Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam, who is under criticism these days due to his poor form. However, despite this poor form, he is making records at the global level and leaving behind contemporary veteran cricketers. Records are also waiting for him in the T20 series against South Africa starting from October 28.

Babar Azam, who is part of the Pakistani T20 team after almost a year. He can become the top batsman in T20 Internationals by scoring just 9 runs in the opening match of the three-match T20 series against South Africa to be played in Pindi on Tuesday, October 28.

At present, the highest runs in T20 Internationals are scored by former Indian captain Rohit Sharma. He has scored 4231 runs in 159 matches. Babar Azam is only 8 runs behind him and his total score in 128 matches is 4223 runs.

It is worth mentioning here that Rohit Sharma’s average is 32 while Babar Azam’s run-scoring average in T20 is around 40.
