ISLAMABAD: WhatsApp has added a new feature for users. Which will make group chats even easier.
According to a foreign news agency, the new feature of WhatsApp has been introduced in the new beta version for Android devices. Which will greatly improve the experience of using group chats.
The aforementioned WhatsApp feature was being worked on for the last few weeks, but now it has started to be introduced.
According to the report, members have to be mentioned individually in WhatsApp group chats. Which takes a lot of time. While there is a possibility that some names will not be mentioned. However, under this feature, users will be able to tag everyone in the group chat at the same time by using @all.
With this single mention feature, every member of the group will receive a notification. Even if a person has muted the chat. This feature will prove to be more useful in large groups. Where important updates need to be delivered to all members of the group at the same time.
The report said that this feature will make it easier to deliver your message to everyone in large groups and community chats. And this new feature will not be limited to group admins. Rather, any individual will be able to access the entire group.
WhatsApp is also testing another feature. In which users will be able to mute @all mentions.
Currently, the group mention feature has been introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp. However, it is difficult to say when it will be available to all users.
