IPL Misses Top Spot: The Hundred ranked World’s Best Cricket League

DELHI: During IPL match, South African pacer Lungi Ngidi suffered a serious injury after a failed catch attempt, raising fears of a possible concussion.

The incident occurred when Ngidi, positioned at mid-off, ran back to take a high catch but misjudged it. He fell awkwardly, hitting the back of his head hard on the ground and remained motionless for over a minute.

Medical staff rushed onto the field immediately, with the physio holding his neck and assessing his condition. Although Ngidi was able to communicate, he showed signs of distress. A stretcher was brought in, and a neck brace was carefully fitted before securing him for transport.

Doctors and support staff surrounded the player as he was taken off the field and shifted to an ambulance for further medical examination. More updates on his condition are awaited.
