ISLAMABAD: Cricket fans have been allowed to watch the playoff matches of the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the stadium.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi said in a message on the social networking website X (formerly Twitter) that he just met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, I am happy to inform you that he has approved the participation of fans in all three PSL playoff matches.

Mohsin Naqvi said that along with this, the Prime Minister has also set an important condition, the Prime Minister says that fans should use public transport to attend the matches or keep fuel consumption to a minimum so as to cooperate in the national austerity campaign.
According to the Chairman PCB, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his best wishes for the four teams participating in the PSL playoff phase.
Pakistan Cricket Board chief Mohsin Naqvi further said that they are looking forward to exciting and thrilling cricket.
It should be noted that yesterday there was a demand from the public that the PSL semi-finals should be opened to the audience. Cricket is not just a game but a passion of the nation. Now the matches should not be held in empty stadiums but with full public enthusiasm and passion.
The citizens said that they appeal to the government and the Prime Minister to give the public the opportunity to support their heroes on the field.
