LAHORE: Rawalpindi squad suffered a big blow when the team’s main fast bowler Naseem Shah was released from the squad due to injury.
According to team sources, Naseem Shah suffered a leg injury while fielding during the last match, after which he was immediately examined by a doctor.
Medical reports have diagnosed a strain in the leg muscle, on which the team’s medical panel has advised the fast bowler to take complete rest.
For this reason, Naseem Shah will not be available for the team for the important match to be held on April 26, which is likely to damage Rawalpindi’s bowling line.
In the absence of Naseem Shah, the team management is considering replacement players so that the bowling attack can be balanced.
