Former Sri Lankan test cricketer DS de Silva has passed away.
COLOMBO: Former Sri Lankan Test cricketer leg-spinner and ex-SLC chairman DS de Silva has passed away.
According to Sri Lanka Cricket, DS de Silva represented Sri Lanka in 12 Tests and 41 One Day Internationals.
He was a member of the Sri Lankan team that played its first Test in 1982.
Additionally, DS de Silva also served as the Chairman of the Interim Administration of Sri Lanka Cricket from 2009 to 2011.
