The ICC Under-19 Team Announced at the end of the Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026 has highlighted the tournament’s top young performers, including Pakistan fast bowler Ali Raza. The International Cricket Council revealed a 12-player squad selected by an experienced panel after reviewing performances throughout the competition.

Ali Raza emerged as the only Pakistani player in the lineup. He impressed with his pace and control, taking 13 wickets during the tournament at an average of 13.92. As a result, cricket observers praised his consistency and match impact. His selection also reflects Pakistan’s continued strength in producing quality fast bowlers at youth level.

England captain Thomas Rew was named the team’s leader and wicketkeeper. Moreover, his teammates Menny Lumsden and Ben Mayes also secured places after strong campaigns. England’s presence in the squad underlines their balanced performances across batting and bowling departments.

Meanwhile, tournament winners India placed three players in the team. Among them is rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who delivered a memorable innings in the final. He scored a remarkable 175 runs off just 80 balls, helping his side lift the trophy. That knock quickly became one of the defining moments of the event.

The ICC Under-19 Team Announced features players from multiple countries, showing the global depth of emerging cricket talent. Other selected names include Weeran Chamuditha, Faisal Khan Shinwari, Oliver Peake, Kanishk Chauhan, Nooristani Umarzai, Vitel Laas, and Henil Patel. Together, they represent the next generation expected to shape international cricket in the coming years.

Selection for the team is widely viewed as an early career milestone. Many past Under-19 standouts have progressed to senior international cricket. Therefore, recognition at this stage often signals a bright future.

Although Pakistan had limited representation, Ali Raza’s inclusion stands out as a positive takeaway from the tournament. His performance not only strengthened his reputation but also offered encouragement for Pakistan’s youth cricket structure.

Overall, the squad celebrates excellence, discipline, and promise shown during the World Cup. With several players already attracting attention, fans may soon see these young athletes competing at the highest level of the sport.
