The much-awaited T20 World Cup 2024 encounter between rivals India and Pakistan will be hosted at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where a fan park will be established by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Thanks to the ICC’s decision, supporters of the Green Shirts will be able to witness the intensity of the match on a large screen on June 9 at the Rawalpindi stadium.

Ten fan parks will screen the Pakistan vs India match, including the Indira Gandhi Indoor Arena in New Delhi, India, and Nassau County’s Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, New York.

Fans can enter the Rawalpindi fan park ninety minutes prior to the game and it will stay accessible for another sixty minutes after the play concludes.

A statement issued by the ICC stated, “The ICC has announced a record number of fan parks to broadcast the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 with nine live sites in five different countries.”

The international organization claims that this action will enable the largest cricket carnival in the history of the ICC World Cup to reach more people than ever before.

The ICC said that up to 22 World Cup matches will be aired in several cities, including Rawalpindi, New Delhi, and New York City. This will be the most fan park for an ICC World Cup ever.

“The parks will feature live entertainment such as DJs, food and drink outlets, cricket ambassadors, and family activities, making it an unmissable experience for fans across the globe,” the statement added.

The mega event will commence on June 1 and will see matches being played in the US and the West Indies.
