DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule for the T20 World Cup 2026, with Pakistan and India placed in the same group.
According to the schedule released by the ICC, Pakistan and India have been placed in the same group, with Group One comprising Pakistan, India, Namibia, the Netherlands, and the United States.
Group Two of the T20 World Cup 2026 includes the teams of Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Oman.
Group Three includes England, West Indies, Italy, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Group Four includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, and Canada.
All the matches of the T20 World Cup will be played at 8 venues, with World Cup matches being played at 5 venues in India and 3 venues in Sri Lanka.
India includes Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, Eden Gardens, Kolkata, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
The T20 World Cup 2026 matches will be played in Sri Lanka at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy, Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, and Sinhala Sports Club, Colombo.
According to the ICC, the T20 World Cup 2026 trophy will tour different countries from December 1.
