Pak vs Aus: Pakistan wins toss, elects to field against Australia

RAWALPINDI: In the first match of the three-match ODI series, Pakistan won the toss and decided to field first against Australia.

In the match being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and decided to field first.

Shaheen Afridi said that the Pakistani team is playing its 1,000th match in the history of ODI cricket today, it is an honor for Pakistan to participate in the 1,000th match and captain it.

He said that this is a historic opportunity for the entire team, and we will try to present a good performance and win the match.

Pakistan’s Squad

The national team includes Shaheen Afridi as captain, Sahibzada Farhan, Moaz Sadaqat, Babar Azam, Ghazi Ghauri, wicketkeeper, Salman Ali Agha and Abdul Samad. In addition, Shadab Khan, Arafat Minhas, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed are also part of the team. Young player Arafat Minhas is making his ODI debut.
