Pakistan considers changes in playing XI against Namibia

COLOMBO: The team management is considering changes in the playing eleven against Namibia.

According to sources, there is a possibility of two to three changes in the team in the match against Namibia, the team management has started considering replacing the senior players with bench strength.

Pakistan’s match against Namibia is very important. If Pakistan loses to Namibia, it may be difficult for it to reach the Super Eight stage.

If the match rains, then Pakistan will get one point and will qualify for the next stage.

It should be noted that senior cricketers have criticized the team after the defeat to India and have suggested dropping Babar, Shaheen and Shadab.

Senior players are likely to be rested in the match against Namibia, according to sources, Salman Mirza is being considered in the playing eleven instead of Shaheen Afridi.

Fakhar Zaman is likely to be included in place of Babar Azam, Naseem Shah will be included in place of Shadab Khan or Muhammad Nawaz, the final playing XI will be decided tomorrow.
