Pak u19 vs Sco u19: Pakistan defeated Scotland by 6 wickets

HARARE: Pakistan defeated Scotland by 6 wickets in the Under-19 World Cup to achieve its first victory in the event.

In the match played in Harare, Scotland batted first and were bowled out for 187 runs in the 49th over.

For Scotland, captain Thomas Knight scored 37, Finlay Jones 33, and Ollie Jones 30.

Pakistani fast bowler Ali Raza took 4 wickets for 37 runs, and  Momin Qamar sent 3 players to the pavilion for 46 runs.

The Green Shirts easily achieved the target of 188 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the 44th over.

Usman Khan played an innings of 75, and Ahmed Hussain played an innings of 47 runs to lead the team to victory.

Earlier, Pakistan had faced defeat at the hands of England in the first match of the Under-19 World Cup.
