Pakistan expected to make two changes for Sylhet Test

SYLHET: Pakistan is expected to make two changes to their playing XI for the second and final Test against the Bangladesh national cricket team, scheduled to begin in Sylhet on Saturday.

According to team sources, Babar Azam has recovered fitness and is likely to return to the side in place of Imam-ul-Haq, who scored 45 and 2 runs in the first Test.

Sources added that fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is also likely to be dropped, with Khurram Shahzad expected to replace him in the final XI.

According to the proposed batting order, Azan Owais and captain Shan Masood are expected to open the innings, while Abdullah Fazal will likely bat at number three.

Babar Azam is expected to take the number four position, while Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan are also likely to retain their places in the side.

Meanwhile, weather conditions may play a major role in the match, as rain has been forecast in Sylhet throughout the coming week. Team management is expected to announce the final playing XI shortly before the start of the Test.
