LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the highly anticipated Champions One-Day Cup, set to take place from September 12 to 29 at the iconic Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
This elite competition showcases the country’s finest 150 cricketers, carefully selected and divided into teams, with the opening match featuring Wolves and Panthers on September 12.
The tournament’s single-league format ensures each team faces every other, with 14 matches scheduled to commence at 3 pm, except for the September 16 encounter between Lions and Panthers, which starts at 9:30 am to accommodate the live broadcast of the Pakistan women’s vs South Africa women’s T20I.
The event will build up to an exciting finale, with three playoffs spanning four days, culminating in the championship match on September 29.
