PCB announces ticket refund process for abandoned ICC Champion Trophy matches

PCB grants NOCs to several Pakistani cricketers for overseas leagues

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the ticket refund process for two ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 matches that were abandoned due to rain at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The games on February 25 between South Africa and Australia and on February 27 between Bangladesh and Pakistan were cancelled without a ball thrown.

However, the PCB has clarified that refunds will only be provided for these two matches, and not for the Group B match between Australia and Afghanistan.

Ticket Refund Process 

As per the PCB Ticket Refund Policy of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the ticket-holder is entitled to a refund in case a match is abandoned before the toss.

The refund for Hospitality boxes and PCB gallery tickets is excluded. Successful ticket holders will be entitled to a refund from one of 10 designated outlets of private couriers, active from March 10 to 14, 2025.

TCS Outlets for Ticket Refund

The following TCS outlets have been designated for ticket refunds:

  • Faisalabad: Harrianwala Express Center, 270-B Harrianwala Chowk, Near Shaukat Fabrics
  • Gujranwala: New Area Office Express Center, Opposite Jamia Azizia & Super Asia GT Road
  • Hyderabad: Area Office Express Center, Autobhan Road Near Toyota Motors Site Area
  • Islamabad: I-9 Express Center, Plot No. 394-A Pothohar Road Near Police Station Sector I-9/3
  • Karachi: Head Office Express Center, 101-104 CAA Club Road Near Hajj Terminal – 3; AND, Ittehad Flagship Express Center, 15-C Lane 10 Phase 6
  • Lahore: Gulberg Express Center, 58/D-1 Gulberg-III; AND, Thokar Niaz Baig Express Center, Ali Town Stop, Near HBL Raiwind Road
  • Multan: Area Office Express Center, 985/B, Tareen Road
  • Rawalpindi: Khanna Express Center, TCS Regional Office, Near Fazaia Colony Link Road
  • Peshawar: Ring Road Area Office Express Center, Ring Road Near Neelam CNG Motorway
  • Quetta: Jinnah Road Express Center, Near Dr. Bano Road, Main Jinnah Road

The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is going to be finished, and the four semifinal slots are occupied by India, New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia.

But yet to be decided are the final match-ups for the knockout matches after the last group-stage fixture between India and New Zealand, which is ongoing.

The first of Group A will meet the second of Group B. The Group B winners will meet the second of Group A.
