PSL 11 concludes with major honours for Babar Azam, Sufyan Muqim

LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League Season 11 concluded in style with a glittering awards ceremony celebrating the tournament’s top performers, where star cricketer Babar Azam once again stole the spotlight with his consistent batting brilliance.

The Peshawar Zalmi captain amassed a remarkable 588 runs throughout the season, earning him the prestigious Golden Bat along with the Hanif Mohammad Cap for best batting performance. His commanding displays at the crease played a central role in Zalmi’s strong campaign.

In the fielding category, Zalmi’s Farhan Yousuf was recognized as the best fielder of the tournament, while Islamabad United skipper Shadab Khan secured the title of best all-rounder for his impactful performances with both bat and ball.

The highest individual honor, Player of the Tournament, was awarded to Peshawar Zalmi’s Sufyan Muqim, who also claimed the Fazal Mahmood Cap as the leading wicket-taker after an impressive haul of 22 wickets.

Sri Lankan star Kusal Mendis was named best wicketkeeper of the season, while Hyderabad Kingsmen’s Hunin Shah was recognized as the Emerging Player of the Tournament for his breakthrough performances.

Off the field, Asif Yaqoob was adjudged the best umpire of PSL 11, reflecting his consistent officiating standards throughout the competition. Hyderabad Kingsmen were also awarded the Spirit of Cricket Award for maintaining exemplary sportsmanship during the tournament.

The ceremony marked a fitting conclusion to a highly competitive PSL 11 season, highlighting outstanding individual and team performances across all facets of the game.
