LAHORE: Important decisions regarding Pakistan cricket management and team leadership are expected in the coming days as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) prepares to hold a high-level meeting, according to media reports.
A meeting likely to be chaired by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is expected to take place on Friday or Saturday, where several matters related to team structure and administration will be discussed.
Reports said one of the key agenda items includes a possible change in the Test team captaincy, with discussions reportedly focusing on replacing Shan Masood. Salman Ali Agha is being considered as a potential candidate to take over leadership responsibilities.
The meeting is also expected to review the composition of the selection committee. Consultations with current and former cricketers may be held before finalising any changes to the team management setup.
In addition, reports indicated that adjustments in cricket operations and other administrative positions may also be considered as part of broader reforms aimed at improving performance and organisational structure.
No official confirmation has yet been issued by the PCB, and all potential changes remain subject to approval during the upcoming meeting.
