ICC penalizes Pakistan over slow over rate in opening test

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan cricket team was fined for slow over rate in the first Test match against Bangladesh.

The Pakistan team also lost 8 points in the ICC Test Championship due to slow over rate, one point was deducted for missing one over.

The Pakistan team had a slow over rate in the Mirpur Dhaka Test against Bangladesh.

According to the ICC, the Pakistan team missed the target by 8 overs.

It should be noted that Bangladesh defeated the Pakistan team by 104 runs in the first Test match.

The second Test match between the Pakistan and Bangladesh teams will start tomorrow in Sylhet, Bangladesh has a 1-0 lead in the 2-Test series.
