Pakistani Star cricketers to miss full BPL season over national commitments

Pakistan will participate ICC T20 world cup

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricket team will not be able to play the full BPL due to national duty, as most of the players selected for the Bangladesh Premier League BPL are part of the national team.

Accordingly, there is also the option of not granting NOC to players who are likely to be a permanent part of the T20 squad, but the issue of NOCs for players will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet refused to grant NOC for the BPL, but the BPL teams are aware of the position of Pakistani cricketers, so they can look at replacement players.

It should be noted that the Bangladesh Premier League is scheduled from December 26 to January 23, during which Pakistan is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka, while the home series against Australia is scheduled for the end of January.

Saim Ayub, Khawaja Nafi, Safyan Muqim, Sahibzada Farhan Muhammad Nawaz have been selected in the BPL, while Jehandad Khan, Ehsanullah, Haider Ali, Usman Khan, Abrar Ahmed and Muhammad Amir have also been included.

Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Muhammad Nawaz, Usman Khan and Abrar Ahmed are permanent members of the squad. The Pakistan team will play three T20 matches at Dambulla Stadium on January 7, 9 and 11.
