MUMBAI: India has announced its squad for the T20 World Cup to be held early next year.
The Indian Cricket Board has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be led by Suryakumar Yadav.
Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey are also part of the Indian squad.
Apart from this, Axar Patel, Rinku Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, and Arshdeep Singh are also part of the team. Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar and Ishan Kishan have also been made part of the Indian squad.
India’s T20 team vice-captain Shubman Gill could not make it to the World Cup squad and Axar Patel has been appointed as the vice-captain of the Indian team in his place.
It should be remembered that the T20 World Cup will be played in India and Sri Lanka from February 7.
