RAWALPINDI: The trophy for the T20 tri-nation series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe was unveiled.

National T20 team captain Salman Ali Agha and Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza attended the unveiling ceremony held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

At the same time, experienced all-rounder Dawson Shanaka represented the team from Sri Lanka.

It is worth noting that Sri Lankan captain Charith Asalanka could not attend the ceremony due to ill health.

He could not attend the third match of the ODI series played against Pakistan on Sunday.

The tri-nation series will begin with the opening match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

In the league stage, each team will play 4 matches, while the top 2 teams on the points table will face each other in the final on November 29.

Two important players of the Sri Lankan cricket team have decided to return home before the tri-nation series.

It should be noted that, according to the Sri Lanka Cricket Board, team captain Charith Asalanka and fast bowler Asitha Fernando will not be present in the series due to personal reasons.

The board said that Dawson Shanaka will lead the Sri Lankan team in the absence of the captain.
