HARARAE: Zimbabwe has announced a tri-nation series with Pakistan and Afghanistan ahead of the 2026 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
In this regard, Zimbabwe has organized an Under-19 ODI tri-series with Afghanistan and Pakistan in Harare.
Zimbabwe team managing director Givemore Makoni confirmed that this tri-series is very important for young players to prepare them for world-class competitions.
Makoni said that playing against strong teams like Afghanistan and Pakistan will give our players valuable experience for world-class competitions.
The series will start on Christmas Day, December 25, between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan at the Harare Sports Club. In the second match, Afghanistan and Pakistan will face each other at the Harare Sports Club on December 27.
Other matches of the tri-series are as follows:
Makoni added that through this tri-series, the Zimbabwe Cricket Board will also be able to test its hosting arrangements so that it can successfully host the ICC Under-19 World Cup alongside Namibia.
