ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s internet and social media access have been interrupted again. Both Facebook and X are now unusable without VPNs on several internet providers, such as PTCL, Ufone, Zong, etc. Internet speeds overall have also crashed.

Yet, some internet service providers like Nayatel seem to be functioning well during this time, and users can access Facebook and X without any issue.

On the other hand, PTCL users are complaining of obstruction in even messaging apps like WhatsApp. Users have been facing extreme difficulty while communicating through social media apps.

However, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has not issued any official statement or reason for this outrage.
