ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has urged parents to set clear screen time limits for children to protect their learning and well-being.
The advisory emphasizes that excessive internet use by minors can negatively affect education, recreation, and family life. The PTA recommended that parents should watch their children’s online activities while teaching them about safe and responsible internet use.
The regulator shared an official website list of approved parental control tools that support digital safety.
The advisory also encourages the use of content filters and parental control software, which helps parents protect their children from dangerous or unsuitable online material.
