Punjab Govt unveils 50 free WiFi hotspots in Lahore: Full list of locations inside

free Wi-Fi service in Punjab

LAHORE: Punjab government has announced the reinstatement of free WiFi services in Lahore. Initially launched under former Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s administration, the project faced a hiatus during the PTI government’s tenure in 2021. However, following the recent assumption of power by the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) [PML-N], led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the initiative has been revitalized.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce that free WiFi service that was announced earlier has been successfully launched at 50 strategic locations across Lahore, including key public areas, educational institutions, and hospitals. She also mentioned that more of these free hotspots across Lahore are being done.

The designated free WiFi spots include prominent locales such as Hussain Chowk, Mozang Adda, Naqshah Stop, Kotha Pind Stop, Shadman Chowk, and MM Alam Road, ensuring widespread connectivity for residents and visitors alike. Below is the complete list of free wifi locations across Lahore.
