CALIFORNIA: Snapchat has made its Imagine AI Lens free for all users.

According to Snapchat, this lens allows users to create new ways to create or present their Snaps in new contexts using only conversational gestures.

creativity is the limit of this lens, just type your idea, see how it comes to life, and share your creation with friends, a story, or outside of Snapchat.

Snap also provided some interesting examples of using Imagine Lens:

  • Turning a regular office into a slippery slip and slide
  • Trying out Halloween costume suggestions
  • Creating the best response for the occasion

It has also set guidelines for the responsible use of AI; vulgar or sensitive content will not work in the lens, but everything else can be created by the user and shared on Snaps or other platforms.

Users can find the Imagine Lens in the Lens Carousel or search for the name in the app. Lenses can also be accessed by scanning a QR code.
