KARACHI: Vivo has officially unveiled the vivo Y31d in Pakistan, introducing a feature-packed smartphone focused on long-lasting battery life, durability, and smooth everyday performance.
The standout feature of the device is its massive 7200mAh BlueVolt battery, the largest ever in a vivo smartphone.
According to the company, the handset can deliver up to 11.8 hours of continuous gaming, 14.5 hours of navigation, and an impressive 45 hours of video playback on a single charge. The device also supports 44W FlashCharge, ensuring faster charging with minimal downtime.
To enhance safety, vivo has equipped the phone with advanced battery protection, including 25-dimensional security measures and over 43,000 daily temperature checks. The battery is engineered for longevity as well, retaining at least 80% health even after 1,600 charge cycles, making it a long-term, reliable option for users.
Beyond battery performance, the vivo Y31d is built for real-world durability. It comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, allowing it to withstand rain, splashes, and harsh environmental conditions.
Features like Wet-Hand Touch, Moisture Detection, and One-Tap Water & Dust Ejection ensure smooth usability even in challenging conditions.
The device also boasts SGS 5-Star drop resistance certification, military-grade durability, and Titan Glass protection, making it resilient against accidental drops and impacts.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 platform, the smartphone delivers efficient performance with reduced power consumption. Vivo claims the device offers a “50-month smooth experience,” maintaining consistent speed over extended use.
The phone features a 120Hz refresh rate display with up to 1250 nits brightness, ensuring smooth visuals and clear visibility even under direct sunlight. It also includes enhanced audio with up to 400% volume output for better clarity in noisy environments.
Running on OriginOS 6, the device introduces AI-powered features such as AI SuperLink, AI Magic Move, AI Caption, and AI Creation, aimed at boosting productivity and user convenience.
In terms of design, the smartphone is available in Feather Gold and Starlight Grey, featuring a sleek one-piece look with a metallic camera module and ergonomic curved body for comfortable handling.
The vivo Y31d will be available in Pakistan in three variants: Rs. 57,999 for 6GB+128GB, Rs. 65,999 for 8GB+128GB, and Rs. 72,999 for 8GB+256GB. Pre-orders will begin on March 31, while nationwide availability starts on April 4.
Approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, the device ensures full compatibility with local networks. Vivo is also offering a one-year warranty, a 15-day free replacement policy, and a six-month warranty for accessories.
Additionally, users subscribing to Zong 4G can avail themselves of 12GB of free internet over six months, further enhancing the value proposition of the device.
