YouTube announces several new changes to Shorts

NEW YORK: YouTube CEO Neil Mohan said that sometime this year, creators will be able to create shorts based on their personality.

He did not specify what he meant by personality. He only said that details in this regard will be shared soon, including when the feature will be available and how to use it.

A YouTube spokesperson said that this year, creators will also be able to use AI to create games with written instructions.

Similarly, an experimental feature related to music will also be available to users.

In his letter, Neil Mohan said that work is being done to develop systems to prevent the influx of AI spam and reduce the spread of substandard content.

He further said that other new features will also be added to YouTube. He said that different formats such as image posts will be made part of the live feed.

According to Neel Mohan, shorts are viewed 200 billion times every day around the world.
