5.7 magnitude earthquake in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, citizens scared

Earthquake tremors felt in Türkiye–Syria border region

ISLAMABAD: Earthquakes were felt in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing panic among citizens and people came out of their homes chanting the Kalima Tayyaba.

According to the details, earthquake tremors were felt in Malakand, Batkhela, Swabi, Shangla, Swat, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar and Upper Dir.

According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 5.7, while the depth was recorded as 170 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Afghan-Tajik border area. No reports of loss of life or property have been received from the earthquake so far.
