Bilawal unveils PPP’s pledge to tackle poverty, inflation and unemployment

Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has outlined the party’s commitment to addressing poverty, inflation, and unemployment.

In a press conference held in Sukkur, Bilawal emphasized that the PPP is prepared to confront poverty and inflation by formulating a comprehensive plan. Speaking directly about the upcoming elections, he expressed the party’s determination to prioritize the welfare of the people.

“We do not want anyone to be imposed on us for the fourth time. We do not want any player to come and impose someone else on us. I hope my nomination papers from Lahore will be accepted,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated during the press conference.

Highlighting ongoing efforts in the party, he announced that the PPP’s election campaign is in progress. In commemoration of the anniversary of the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal presented ten points from the party’s manifesto. He affirmed the PPP’s commitment to empowering women in politics and pledged that the party would deliver excellent results in the upcoming elections.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed concerns about the economic state of the country, particularly in Sukkur, stating that women in Ghotki have also been provided interest-free loans. He introduced the party’s revolutionary program to provide land and housing rights to the poor, emphasizing the establishment of green parks at the district level to provide free electricity to the impoverished. He also announced plans to provide free electricity to the poor through solar panels, similar to health facilities established in Sindh.

The PPP chairman disclosed that under the “Own Land, Own Home” project, 20 lakh houses are being constructed on party-owned land. He pledged to build 30 lakh houses for the poor in other parts of the country, expand the Benazir Income Support Program, and provide direct assistance to farmers through the Benazir Kissan Card. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari assured that the party would initiate an insurance plan for those affected by climate change.
