Ramadan relief package

Under the Government of Pakistan’s Ramadan relief package, three essential items will not be available at discounted prices at utility stores. According to the details, despite the announcement of the package, the current prices of sugar, flour, and ghee will remain the same.

A 10 kg bag of flour will be available at Rs648, while the price of sugar for Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) beneficiaries will be Rs109 per kg. Under the Ramadan relief package, ghee will be sold at Rs 365 per kg.

Management of utility stores has refused to reduce the prices of sugar, flour, and ghee, saying prices are already low for BISP beneficiaries.
