Thunderstorm likely to hit KPK Gilgit-Baltistan

Thunderstorm likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

According to the Meteorological Department, snowfall is expected on the mountains in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, while there is a possibility of rain with gale, strong winds and thunder in Islamabad.

Hailstorm is also predicted a few places in Islamabad, Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin are likely to receive rain.

Rain in Gujrat, Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Hafizabad, while in Faisalabad, Jhang, Khushāb, Toba Tek Singh, Okara hailstorm is forecast at a few places.

Strong winds and thundershowers are likely in Sargodha, Mianwali, Kasur, Nowshera, Haripur, Peshawar, Kohat, Kurram District, Bannu and Waziristan, rain in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Balakot and Mardan are expected.

Smog and fog are predicted to remain in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Upper Sindh, dry weather in most districts of Balochistan and cold weather in northern areas.

Most of the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to be cloudy and there is a possibility of rain with thunder and snow in some places of the province.

According to the Department of Meteorology, there will be fog in Peshawar, Chārsadda, Mardan and Swabi in the morning and at night, while there is a possibility of rain with thunder in some places of the province and snowfall on the mountains, which will further increase the severity of the cold.
