ISLAMABAD: Living in Capital Islamabad, the youngsters belonging to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) district Kohat “Shakardara” have organized a test cricket tournament at Embassy Road Ground on Sunday.
The tournament was won by Kazim Waleed’s team while the runner-up was Arif Rashid’s team. Four teams were participated in the tournament.
The organizer of the tournament was Manager ‘National Press Club Islamabad’ Kamran Hameed, while the prominent political and social personality Ali Akbar Khan was the chief guest of the event, he distributed cash prizes and trophies were given to the winner and runner-up teams, the best bowler of the tournament was Zafar Hameed, while the best batsman was Irfan Hameed.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Ali Akbar Khan said that sport is a good activity for health, everyone is worried due to the current situation and inflation in the country, so such activities should be organized.
On this occasion, DIA CEO Mirza Muhammad Yusuf Baig, Yoga instructor “The Wonderful Club Pakistan” Rana Azhar Mehmood, Syed Khadim Hussain Karachi were especially present in the field to watch the tournament. Special food was also arranged for all teams.
