Islamabad weather forecast: Cold, dry weather to continue in capital city

ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed chilly weather at night after which the with light sunlight in the morning. However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by gusty winds during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 16 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 04 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 30 to 36% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 5 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 0% today.

According to the Met Office, Cold and dry weather is likely in most parts of the country, while severe cold is likely in the hilly areas. Heavy fog is expected in northeastern Punjab. Light rain with strong winds and thundershowers is likely at a few places in southeastern Punjab and eastern Sindh.
