Islamabad weather forecast: Light to moderate rainfall anticipated

ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital enjoyed a pleasant yesterday night which made the weather slightly cooler in Islamabad. Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts that a new rain spell has entered Pakistan which will persist till October 12, 2024.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 27 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 18 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 40 to 42% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 14 km/h. Whereas, the current chance of precipitation is up to 01%.

Moreover, the Met Office predicts that the Islamabad, Lahore, Southern Punjab districts of Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan, Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Lasbella, Panjgur, and Bhakkar are expected to be lashed by rain from  10th to 12th October.

However, other parts of the country will witness hot and dry weather for the next 24 hours.
