Islamabad weather forecast: Weather to remain dry in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The capital city mainly experienced hot and humid weather during the day with light and pleasant wind expected in the evening. However, hot and Humid conditions are expected to continue in the federal capital.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 32 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 23 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 40 to 48% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 8 km/h.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that the weather in most parts of the country will remain hot and dry except, in Gilgit-Baltistan, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the sky is expected to be partly cloudy, with a few places likely to experience rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms.

Going region by region, the PDM predicts that the weather in Islamabad and its surrounding areas will remain hot and dry with no potential signs of rain ahead.

Residents are advised to carry water bottles and an umbrella when going out for longer periods to avoid any potential damage from heat waves.
