Islamabad weather forecast: Weather to remain pleasant in Federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday night and the weather remained pleasant in the city. However, according to the weather forecast temperatures are set to drop in the capital city at night.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 28 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 17 degrees Celsius. The sky remained clear with periodic clouds.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 60 to 64% with a light wind blowing in the east-west direction at the speed of 8 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 1% today.

According to the Met Office, the weather will remain dry in most of the plains of the country. However, in the evening/night, it is likely to remain cloudy in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and upper Punjab, Islamabad besides strong winds/gusty winds and thundershowers and light snowfall over high mountains.
