Karachi weather forecast: Dry weather to continue in port city

KARACHI: The Paki­stan Meteorological Depart­ment (PMD) has predicted hot and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours. However, partly cloudy is predicted for Ka­rachi.

Today, Karachi will experience hot and humid conditions, with temperatures ranging from 30°C to 32°C. However, the city will witness more sunshine, leading to a rise in temperatures. The humidity in the city varies up to 64% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  31 km/h.

Moreover, rainfall is also likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal and other districts of Punjab from 26th September to 01st October, while in Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Okara, Pakpattan, Kasur and Bhakkar from 27th September to 1st October.

However, Most parts of Sindh will remain hot and dry, while rain with wind thunderstorms is expected at isolated places in Mirpurkhas, Tharparker, Umerkot, and adjoining areas from 26th to 28th September.

Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
