KARACHI: Mainly hot and humid weather expected in Karachi throughout the three days of Eid ul Adha with maximum temperature ranging between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD), humidity levels are expected to reach between 50 to 60%.
Met Office forecasted a westerly or evening sea breezes between morning and afternoon hours. In other parts of the province, the weather is anticipated to be hot to extremely hot.
Under this new system, the port city will remain partly cloudy and windy for the next 10 days.
“Very hot and dry weather is likely in most parts of the province from June 17 to June 20. Duststorm/gusty winds Duststorm/gusty winds with isolated rain-thunderstorm is expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore and Larkana on June 21 and 22,” Met Office said.
PMD added that the moist currents from Arabian sea are likely to penetrate upper/central parts of the country including Islamabad from June 18. A Shallow westerly wave is also likely to approach western parts of the country on June 18.
