Karachi weather forecast: Light rainfall anticipated in Port city

KARACHI: Intermittent light and heavy rainfall has been occurring throughout the night in Karachi, leading to waterlogging in low-lying areas. Authorities are on high alert to implement precautionary measures.

Whereas the temperatures varied between 28 to 32 degrees Celsius, the air is moving in the southwest direction at the speed of 23 km/h. The chances of precipitation range up to 10%.

The humidity level fluctuates between 70 to 75 percent.

PMD forecasts heavy rainfall and gusty winds in southeast Sindh, whereas PMD also warns low-laying areas against potential medium floods. Citizens are directed to evacuate the places if they sense any threat regarding the flood.

In addittion, the rainfall has affected various areas including M.A. Jinnah Road, Gulistan-e-Johar, Old City Area, Nazimabad, New Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, as well as Landhi, and Korangi, bringing some relief to the weather.
