KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted pleasant yet dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours; however, citizens are set to experience monsoon rains.

Today, Karachi experienced isolated thundershowers at some places with temperatures ranging from 32°C to 28°C. The humidity in the city varies up to 75%, and the air is moving in the northwest direction at a speed of 13 km/h.

Moist currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are penetrating most of Pakistan, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), and a westerly wave is prevailing over most of Pakistan.
These weather phenomena suggest that most of Pakistan will receive widespread monsoon occasioned by wind storms, in the twin cities, Potohar region, upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and northeastern/southern Balochistan on Friday night and the following two days. Widespread heavy rains are also likely to occur at isolated places during this time.
