Karachi weather update: Cold wave to continue in port city

KARACHI: The Paki­stan Meteorological Depart­ment (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours, however, temperatures are set to drop at night.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 12°C. However, the city will witness a significant drop in temperatures as winter is scattering its roots in Pakistan. The humidity in the city varies up to 28% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  14 km/h.

According to Met Office’s latest predictions, the weather is likely to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it will be extremely cold in the mountainous areas. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh.
