Karachi weather update: Strong winds to blow at night in port city

KARACHI: The Paki­stan Meteorological Depart­ment (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours, however, temperatures are set to drop at night.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 12°C. However, the city will witness a significant drop in temperatures as winter is scattering its roots in Pakistan. The humidity in the city varies up to 37% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  10 km/h.

According to Met Office’s latest predictions, The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most of the plains of the country, while it is likely to be extremely cold in the mountainous areas at night. Strong winds are expected in most parts of the country in the afternoon.
