KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 32°C to 20°C. However, the city will witness more sunshine, leading to a rise in temperatures. The humidity in the city varies up to 50% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  16 km/h.

The weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, in the evening/night, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir will remain cloudy, besides rain at a few places in Islamabad, and light snowfall is expected over the high mountains. Most of the areas of Punjab are covered with smog, while some plain areas are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog during the night.

Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
