KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours, however, citizens are set to experience warmer days ahead as compared to the previous week.
Today, Karachi experienced mainly partly cloudy yet dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 33°C to 22°C. The humidity in the city varies up to 20 to 25% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 18 km/h.
According to the Met Office, a strong westerly wave is likely to approach the western or upper parts of the country on 24th March (tonight) and affect upper and central parts from Tuesday to Thursday (25th to 27th March).
Widespread rainfall (snow over mountains) with some heavy falls expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir under the influence of this weather system from 25th to 28th March.
Rainfall with snow over high mountains is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the 25th to the 27th of March with occasional gaps. Isolated hailstorm is also expected during the period.
Rainfall with few hailstorms is expected in Islamabad and districts of Punjab from 25th to 27th March, while in southern Punjab districts on 25th and 26th March.
