LAHORE: Very hot and humid weather was reported in the city here while Met office predicted similar weather conditions with chances of scattered rain during night.
Met officials said that weak moist currents from Arabian sea was penetrating in central parts of the country while a shallow westerly wave was also present over upper parts.
They predicted that windstorm/thunderstorm-rain was expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, Punjab and northeast Baluchistan while hot and humid weather was likely elsewhere in the country. Rainfall was recorded at Dir, Bannu and Jhelum only.
