Lahore weather: Light rain expected in provincial capital

LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing a cold wave in the provincial capital. Scattered rains are predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the upper parts of Pakistan. Whereas, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 24 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 39%.

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, cloudy weather with light rain/light snowfall is likely at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.
