LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing monsoon wave in the provincial capital. Scattered rains are predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab.
According to the Meteorological Department (PMD), a seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Strong monsoon currents are penetrating northeast Punjab and Kashmir from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
Mainly, Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, widespread rain-wind/thundershower is likely in Kashmir and Northeast Punjab, while at isolated places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Punjab, and Northeast/South Balochistan. Heavy falls are also expected in Northeastern Punjab and Kashmir during the forecast period.
