PESHAWAR: For the next 24 years, the majority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas will continue to see dry and hot weather, a Pakistan Meteorological Department official stated on Friday.
The official stated that the heat would continue to envelop the province’s plains and southern regions.
The top regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had the potential for rain and thunder, and Mardan, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Kurram, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Kohistan, Battagram, Swat, Chitral, and Mansehra were also likely to get rain, he continued.
There was about 16 mm of rain in the upper Balakot area, 4 mm in Chitral and Kalam, and 1 mm in Durash.
