Rain expected across most of Punjab till January 23

LAHORE: According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, rains are likely in most districts of Punjab from today to January 23.

Heavy snowfall and rain are expected, especially in Murree, Galiya,t and other hilly areas.

The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has also confirmed the forecast of rains in Lahore, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Kh,an and Bahawalpur divisions.

PDMA Punjab has directed all concerned departments to remain alert and ensure safety measures so that possible floods or other natural disasters can be dealt with.

The district administration and other departments have been asked to remain vigilant, especially in Murree.

DG PDMA Punjab has appealed to the public to stay informed about the weather situation and take precautionary measures.
